January 1st, 2006 Happy New Year! We look forward to seeing you all out in 2007. We've added some new dates and it looks to be a busy first quarter for us, new venues mixed with old friends should prove for some fun nights. We'll also be releasing our debut album in February with a CD release party to follow on March 3rd at Mexicali Blues. May 19th, 2006 We are very disappointed to announce that the show at Ray Kelly's which was scheduled for Friday May 19th, is CANCELLED, apparently there was a situation outside the club last night and they will not be opened tonight. For those that planned on being there, thank you and we're sorry but this is something completely out of our control. Hopefully we'll see some of you folks this Saturday night at the Donegal Saloon!! -the Breadbox Band
May 5th, 2006 The May 5th Danbury show has been rescheduled. We're playing two shows on Saturday, the 6th. The first one is the Denville Jam with Shockenaw (featuring members of Railroad Earth) and then we'll be heading for NYC to play a set at Kenny's Castaways. April 17th, 2006 We have advanced to the final round of competition for a late night slot at the Strange Creek Campout, we are very excited about this but we need everyone's help in order to win. The final round is this Thursday 4/20 at Mill street Brews in Southbridge, Mass. We play one set starting around 11:45 and are offering carpools up to the gig! Crowd draw is a big part of the decision and selection of the winner so we'd love to see all of you out there so we can show Mass. how the Box gets down. March 15th, 2006 April is shaping up to be a great month for us with some really exciting, top notch gigs happening. First off, we're Very Excited to announce that the 4/21 Mexicali Blues show will be be part of the Green Apple Music Festival. We'll also be playing our first gig in Massachusetts where we will be taking part in the Wormtown Battle of the Bands on 4/13. Last but not least, we'll be making our first trip to the legendary Stone Pony where we'll be joining the Juggling Suns for their CD Release party. This is a Strangers Helping Strangers event also, so please remember to bring some canned goods along. Thanks! -the Breadbox Band
